Foxes - Islington Assembly Hall - 02/03/22

I’d never been to the Islington Assembly Hall until shooting Foxes. I never even knew it existed, but after shooting there and realising how easy a journey it is for me, I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more shows there.

As mentioned in my previous blogs, I’ve recently purchased some prism lenses and for this night as we were allowed to shoot the whole set, I decided to try out two different lens filters - a centre split diopter filter and a half subtle kaleidoscope creative filter.

The centre split diopter has a clear line straight down the middle to shoot between blurred sides and can be rotated, while the subtle kaleidoscope filter has a fixed position. I did slightly loosen the filter to try it out at different angles, which seemed to work fine and it didn’t fall off. While shooting, I did do some shots without the filters too. Check out the results below!
