Latitude Festival 2021 - Thursday Photo Highlights

Prior to Covid, the last festival I photographed was Slam Dunk in 2019. Before that, I actually can’t remember the last multiple day festival that I shot, as I’ve spent the last few years working at Leeds Festival with the LD Communications PR team rather than shooting it. Back in 2020 I was asked to join the Latitude Festival photography team for the 2020 festival, which then got postponed to 2021 (like everything else), but finally the time came around and last week I got to spend a few days back in festival land, with my camera, lots of sun cream and a whole bunch of awesome people.

I’d never been to Latitude to before, but everyone had told me that it has such a lovely atmosphere and that I’d have a great time - and I did! It’s such a great festival for families and there is so much going on in terms of music, comedy, arts and crafts and so much more. Thankfully we only had a short 5-10 minute shower (while we were editing away in our cabin) and were blessed with sunshine for the rest of the weekend.

Shooting official for a festival was definitely a new experience - editing on the go and also focusing on more than just music, but I had a great time and can’t wait to do it again! Big shout out and thanks to Lottie and Kate for having me on board and also the rest of the photography team (Matt, Luke, Em, Ania, Jake, Sam and Sarah) who made it a weekend that I will never forget! :)

Below you’ll find a selection of highlights from Thursday at Latitude Festival 2021, with more from the rest of the weekend to follow…
